An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on day 2 of October, repeating indefinitely

St. Cyprian, Priest-Martyr, a cultured Carthaginian, was converted and consecrated Bishop of Carthage.  He wrote much and was a cordial friend of the Martyr Pope, St. Cornelius.  He won his crown of Martyrdom by beheading A.D. 258 under the Emperor Valerian.
