Held annually in the month of December, the St. Nicholas Celebration benefits the Byzantine Catholic Seminary of SS. Cyril & Methodius.

60th Annual St. Nicholas Celebration – “Service: Love in Action”

Join the Celebration! – December 4, 2016

The 60th annual St. Nicholas event will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Saint John the Baptist Cathedral and Center in Munhall, Pa. The theme for the 2016 St. Nicholas Celebration is “Service: Love in Action.” The celebration begins at 3:00 p.m. with a special liturgical service in honor of St. Nicholas, followed by a pre-dinner social for the adults, a Kids’ Corner for the youngsters in attendance, a short themed program featuring special guest speaker Colonel Thomas Connally, and ends with a festive dinner. There also will be choral greetings at the Center entrance by the Archieparchial Choir, a “Dinner for a Year” fund-raising prize drawing, and live dinner music by the popular “Continental Dukes.” All faithful and friends of the Archeparchy are most enthusiastically encouraged to attend! Tickets are now available: Adult tickets are $40 and children (12 and under) are $18. Consider being a Contributing Sponsor and be recognized in the commemorative program! PLEASE NOTE: The children’s “Creativity Contest” which was conducted for the past several years in conjunction with this event will not be held this year. Likewise, the toy collection – which had been conducted in the past and was suspended as of the 2015 event – will not be conducted this year. Thanks to all who have participated in these activities in the past!
